For the expansion and refurbishment of its New York base, Moleskine choose the latest Tecno solutions for shared, flexible offices.
Moleskine's New York offices are housed in a classic industrial building; large windows, exposed brick walls, and open spaces provide the backdrop to day-to-day activities where culture, imagination, and attention to detail are the watchwords of a company that has resurrected the legendary notebook, making it a tool that aids ideas, anywhere and any time.
Headquartered in Chicago, the Northern Trust Corporation is an international financial service company that serves major public, corporate and private investors. It is one of the oldest banking institutions in business and one of the biggest in the United States.
Today, Safilo's offices in Italy and America are welcoming new ways of working that are flexible and dynamic; oriented towards group interaction.
Leading eyewear company, Safilo translates extraordinary designs into unique products, creating artisan expertise that dates back to 1878. Tecno is developed dynamic interiors with organic form, using the beta 2.0 system with over 150 desks.
The workstations are designed for mobility and the informal switch from open space to private offices. The work systems are connected by backbones, a structural element that allows for hidden electrification of all tables.
The unconventional "wave" arrangement of the desks, the multi-purpose area and the inclusion of informal furnishings, encourage an atmosphere of speculative creative exchange. The layout ensures optimization of sunlight and the details favor acoustic comfort.
With the Porcelanosa New York Flagship Store, Tecno has once again worked side-by-side with the Foster+Partners architectural firm, tasked with redesigning the interior of this early 20th Century building located in the intersection between Broadway and Fifth Avenue.
The architectural firm felt strongly about maintaining the neoclassical façade, revamped minimally to maximize the environmental sustainability of the building and its functional and contemporary renovation.
